  1. 2009 C2S I've been getting the sensor failure alarm and the loose connection message .... usually goes away but today it turned on the check engine light as well, prob due to the "temp exceeded" alarm. Where is this sensor .so I can start looking into this...any pics ??
  2. Update: It seems I need a PDK Lever control unit. The parts guy in town is half staffed due to illness and it would have to come from Ontario, Calfiornia.....I'm screwed because I need that car in Vancouver Island on the 23rd.today is the 7th, If I'm lucky they might get the part by next wednesday and Friday is Good Friday....
  3. I'm heading over to my Indy in a couple of minutes , guess i'll find out soon :wrench: . They specialize in German cars only and the owner is a Porsche fan ... cheers
  4. I have an '09 C2S and I'm starting to get an intermittent problem . I put the PDK in park and the dash indication shows park, I turn the key and the ignition shuts off as it's supposed to do but sometimes the key won't release and I get a red warning that says "Put the lever in park". about an inch to the right on the dash it clearly shows that it's in "Park". ?? I have tried moving the car, driving around , sometimes it works, the last time I just left it for 20 minutes and the key released properly when I tried it. This is a major problem because I can't leave the car with the key in the ignition except in my garage...I have it booked into my indy repair shop but I'm wondering if anyone here knows this problem, maybe I can save some expensive shop time if I know what the issue could be ??
