  1. I just pulled these codes from Durametric but I did not receive a check engine light. My engine does feel like it's miss firing and I did replace all my cool packs and plugs recently. The P1354 is on Cylinder 4 only. Any guidance would be great! Thanks! Chris
  2. The issuse had started a few weeks back before Christmas. I originally the truck had no codes, just would limp to a start when it got really cold out. We are talking about < 0 degrees celsius. I then got a code of P2404 and replaced the vacuum pump as another member had that issue. Once I replaced it, I thought things where better, then, I started getting the bumbling start more frequently. I looked at my old HPFP and replaced it with the updated part number. Once, I replaced that, things seemed to be ok. Then a week later, I still get bumbling/balky starts every once in a while. I hear the pumps prime when I open the door and I tried to pull the fuses to confirm, but a few questions for you. When pulling fuses 13/14, should the truck die/stall out when pulled? When I start the truck with either 13 or 14 in the fuse box, should the truck start? When you connected the fuel pressure gauge to test the bar level, where did you connect it to? Also, if my pumps are good, how do I test the fuel filter directly or do I just replace it?
  3. I know this is an old thread, but I just got a P2404 and was hoping that this piece needs to be replaced. Edit: did this fix the error? What was the hardest part of this install? Thanks! Chris
  4. Ooooh ok. I think that makes sense. Because on the back of the OEM PCM 2.1, I see a spot for the GPS antenna and when I look at the schematics it says there is a GPS antenna wire, but it does not say to where it goes. I'm wondering if there is away to tap into that GPS wire underneath the passenger seat. I'm assuming that the antenna/GPS unit is located under the passenger seat as fell for the 2008's? I ended up buying a Dynavin N6 and I love it so far, minus the fact that I have no GPS signal. J&T is sending me another GPS antenna, so I'm hoping it will arrive shortly.
  5. So then that means the antenna wire is coming up either through the center console where the gear stick is or up the passenger foot well?
  6. I'm trying to locate where the GPS antenna runs from the headliner. From the schematics, does it run up the passenger side of the dash or the drivers side of the dash? I pulled my PCM out to replace it and I think the antenna dropped somewhere in the back of the dash.
  7. Ok, so I figured this out. The 90 degree hose at the back of the manifold kept falling off. I should have listened to 968turboS. I just replaced it and now no more error code!
  8. I'm still having issues with this. I reconnected all the hoses and this is what I've been thinking so far. 1) I found oil in my intake manifold, so I'm assuming that possibly my AoS is going and this could cause P0455? 2) the line vacuum one at the back of the engine is cracked and I can't see it, so I might just replace it. 3) the oil residue that I find around the intake manifold could be caused by old or worn gaskets which need to be replaced. Any ideas would be great!
  9. Hmm, ok. I'll check the lines 1 more time. I have a feeling I know which line it is, however, not 100% sure. Loren or JFP, do you have a smoke test DIY?
  10. Will PWIIS tell me exactly where the leak is? Is there a fuel line that runs under the intake manifold?
  11. Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have a diagram on the 957 engines of the fuel system for me to trace? I just pulled all the engine covers again and double checked all the connections as well as the fuel cap. So I guess I'll see what happens tomorrow.
  12. I just completed the thermostat replacement on my 957 08 Cayenne S and everything went well. Except now, i get a the code 0455 - Evaporative emission system leak detected (Large leak) No signal/communication. Did I miss connecting a line or is it related to the gas cap? Anyone know?
