  1. I have a 2003 C2 Coupe 6 spd with less than 6,000 miles. I put in a new battery a few weeks ago. I have a Passport 8500 radar detector plugged in. Key was not in ignition. The car sat in my garage for 3 days (while I was at Indy 500) and the battery was dead this morning. My last car would last over a week with the radar detector plugged in before the battery died. It seems really odd that a new battery would die so quickly with only a radar detector plugged in. Any advice, other than to unplug the radar detector?
