  1. I had similar problem, car needed gas pedal pumping while cranking - but I noticed there was never a problem when car was parked on level ground, it only happened when parked on a sideways slant i.e. on my drive (house on a hill) or when two wheels up on a curb (sketchy parking).
  2. Long time lurker - first time poster. I have access to several non Pcars besides my '98 986 (67K) they all have quite light accelerator pedal actions, the boxster feels really heavy in comparison (pressing toe to top of the pedal is better), is this a trait of pedals that are pivoted at the bottom or is it time for me to start checking the cable and linkage?
