  1. I'm new to the CTT (and the forums, first post). Picked up an '05 with 81k on the clock last week and took it to the local indy to have them look over it for piece of mind, as I generally suffer from terrible caranoia. Car's good, but they noticed that the front left bushing (so I think 16 in the diagram above) is on its way out. They said to keep an eye on it and see if it degrades, but I'd like to just get it over with for piece of mind. My questions: 1) Am I correct in wanting to get this sorted ASAP, looking at the pics below? 2) Do you really have to disconnect the engine and gearbox on the CTT in order to replace these bushings, or is it sufficient to follow the instructions found here? http://vwts.ru/suspension/touareg/tou_40.pdf They mentioned it's something to do with the engine being too heavy to be supported by a jack, but this thread doesn't seem to suggest that it's that big a job. Here are some pics of the left front one (so the one that's going), and then of the right one, where the bolts seem to sit slightly lower. Many thanks for any wisdom, it's very much appreciated. Here are the pics: The one that needs changing: The other one:
