I will check the battery when I get home to make sure there is no corrosion and terminals are secure. It just seems very odd that all would be well and then suddenly, for no apparent reason, I get literally no electrical power in the car. I did a forum search on "bad ignition switch" and pulled up a lot of documents! Let's assume the battery is good. What am I looking for about the ignition switch? Replacement? I just dont understand what the ignition switch would have to do with all of the power in the car... literally nothing works. Nothing at all. Thank you all! I will post back once I have the answer to the battery. -
-Opened the door: Door light on and overhead light on (normal) -Placed key in the ignition: Dash lights on, all looks good. -Turned engine over: Did not immediately start (not unusual... battery charge seemed quite normal) -Turn key back to off position to try again... When I turned it "On" I had no electrical power to anything: -No headlights. -No overhead light. -No dash light. -No heater fan. -No door lights. -Alarm is also not flashing its red light. -No windows. -No locks. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
