  1. I wonder what ever happen to Dr. Wood, does anyone know?
  2. I found out by laying the cover on a glass surface that it was not perfectly flat, but close. Spent a hour sanding it down with 150 sandpaper. So do I need sealant on both metal surfaces?
  3. I believe this is my last question. Do I need to put sealant on both metal surfaces, with the gasket in between?
  4. Thanks for the info that I hadn't thought about.
  5. Is it vital that it be a pre made part as you have listed or can I use my own automotive gasket material?
  6. Tartan wouldn't be original to my car, as it was tweed and twill. Nice interior though. Thanks
  7. This is the intermediate shaft cover I am referring to. Is it called something else? http://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-911-EARLY-INTERMEDIATE-SHAFT-COVER-90110514103-box52-/181927868554
  8. I have some automotive gasket material and I was wondering if it is necessary to purchase a gasket made specifically for Porsche or am I okay with the generic material. I have some Loctite 574 as sealant
  9. I don't think he has ever been here. He did respond to my posting entitled Looking for pics of an original tweed & twill interior, but not heard from him whether he found the upholstery or not.
  10. I've sent a pm, but it appears he doesn't visit here much at all. I've seen his videos as DrDIYPorsche, and i have posted comment to his video, but still not able to connect.
