  1. I had my 2006 997tt in for some warranty work (gear change adjusted and new belts to remove the squeak). They mentioned tat it needed a recall/upgrade to the ecu (only had the car 2 months). Any idea what this is- my opinion is the throttle map feels a bit more aggressive (stalled twice) but nothing else. Bloody cold so not really pushing it to find out. On the maserati everytime it came the car was different!
  2. Help, I know this is taking the forum over but I have just purchased a Denson Gateway 500 and want to know what is the best source of wiring/connecting the unit. Should I link into the CRM sat nav dvd unit or should I use the MOST ring for the CD multi changer (I do not have the multi changer unit fitted). If I were to use the multi changer wiring which I believe is built into all cars including the MOST ring where is the wiring hidden on at RHD car. I don't want to start stripping the front end! The car is a 997tt and finally any links/pictures would help. Thanks
  3. just had the front left wiring harness replaced as mine was doing that. Second time (right side last year) but what gets me is they will nt pay for this fault under warranty- why as they know it is a design fault (they have a repair harness). Porsche is really going to the dogs on silly claims!
