    Just got an '03 boxster S with PSM. Only made it to one DE and left the PSM on the whole time. I felt it kick in a few times, nothing too obtrusive. What I did notice was an increase in braking distance. Not all the time, but enough to scare me a couple times. (I guess 911s just can't go as deep as me) My '02 without PSM only did that when the brakes needed to be bled, and the pedal got long. When the '03 S braking distances got longer, the pedal did not get long. Whenever I notice the braking distance is long (feels like I'm not getting enough pressure on the pedal) I switch off PSM and try another hard braking, then it feels ok. Then I switch on PSM and try it. Always feels ok. Anyone ever hear of or experience that?

    Thanks for the info, I'm going to spend a little more time on it tonight. First thing I will do is swap the socket/wires/connector assembly and see what happens. Thanks

    Just had a few minutes to try one thing tonight. Swapped the entire headlight assembly from my '02 Boxster into my '03 S. Found that the problem is somewhere between the bulb and the connection to the car itself. My old '02 headlight assembly works great in my '03 S, now the '02 has inherited the problem since it has inherited the '03's headlight assembly! I KNOW the bulb is OK, so some connection within the headlight assembly must be loose. Does the Bentley manual have a schematic of that? I've got one on the way. Thanks

    Just got a call back from the dealership. Quote to fix the problem is $295 labor and about $200 parts! I wasn't able to download the pictures from the door panel removal how-to, any alternative to that link? Thanks

    I have the exact problem with my 2003S. While at a track day last week the shop foreman from my local dealership took a look and said the same thing. Microswitch telling the window that the door is closed. He suggested a new handle assembly. If you are able to fix the problem yourself I'd be really grateful for some pointers! Thanks

    I've searched but found no answers, so if I'm missing the thread on this subject, I apologize. I took the amber out of my Litronics yesterday (2003 S). Turn signal on the driver's side works fine. Front passenger turn signal does not work at all (bulb IS FINE) rear passenger turn signal blinks very rapidly. With the hazards, Driver's side works fine, passenger side rear normal (not rapid) passenger side front does nothing. Any ideas? Fuse? Relay? Did I break something?

    Hi, I've got a 2002 986 with too much negative camber on the right rear. I found this out after removing the rear wheel to do some thorough cleaning. The inner portion of the tire was down to the threads and belt! I replaced the rear tires with Pilot Sport PS2s Thursday, but can't get in to my Porsche shop for an alignment before next week. Problem is...autoX on Saturday. I don't want to miss it, but I don't want to chew up my PS2s. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, E PS the only tools I have are a pair of pliers, toenail clippers and a butter knife.

    FYI- I airbrushed my amber bulbs bright silver over a year ago. They illuminate as well as the expensive ones and surprisingly, no chipping or peeling after a year
