Sadly no, I read that section of the manual. With the switches in the on position nothing happens.

I just purchased a 2007 997C4 Cab. So far the car has been great. I have one question. Both map lights and the interior light will not turn on with the switches in the on position. With the switches in the center or door activated position they work fine with a door open. That means they have power and all 3 bulbs are good. What am I missing to manually turn them on?
