  1. Hi guys, Thanks for the replays. Sounds like they would fit a 996 C4S but not a C2. And fitting 19" wheels could cause (very worrying I must admit) excessive loads in the structure, causing fatigue. Time for a rethink.
  2. Hi Rich, Thanks for the leads. I am going to do this to a cat D insurance right-off, so the value for re- sale is not so much of an issue here.
  3. Hi Newbie again, I've been offered a set of alloys for my standard body 996 carrera. There were originally on a 997 and their sizing is as follows Front: off set: 19" x 8.5"J ET+53 Rear: off set: 19" x 12"J ET +51 Will these fit, or would they work for a 996 carrera 4s only? Thanks
  4. Hi Newbie here, This question may have been asked many times before but I can't find the thread. I want to put a 2003 front bumper and lights onto my gen 1 996. I have a bumper cover and beam and a friend has a set of lights and one wing assembly. I want to do it over the winter when I do a motor rebuild and re bush the suspension. Has anyone done this conversion? I imagine there are a lot of small details that would need swapping? Thanks
