  1. I have a 1999 Carrrera with 135k miles that has developed an electrical short. When I apply the brakes hard and the ABS is activated, the horn shorts and starts to sound. You can actually hear the horn contacts activating as the ABS goes on and off. There are no warning lights on the dash and all electrics work fine otherwise. The horn works normally but does seem a little light to the touch. Any suggestion on what is wrong? Mike
