  1. Hello, Thank you very much for your detailed reply. I have had the mechanic remove this out of the door to inspect and it was in fact the micro switch broken. I have ordered the complete door lock assembly off Ebay for £50 including next day delivery for a good condition, fully working used one. Porsche quoted £180 for this part but said it will take 10 working days come. Will be having it fitted tomorrow once it has arrived. Thanks again for your information Matt
  2. It would be pretty simple. If I had not already called Porsche and they told me that it does have the navigation and phone system as it is down on the option list. So therefore have booked it in with them to see what is going on.
  3. Hello, I have a 2006 997 C2. The door window drops 1/2 inch when you pull the handle on the inside or outside of the door when it is shut. But when the door is open the window does not stay down the 1/2 inch so when you shut the door, the window hangs outside the rubber seal and you have to tap the handle to make the window drop underneath. The passenger window works perfectly fine so I am assuming its not the battery reset issue a few people mention. What is the problem? Is the the door assembly? If so can someone point me to a website for the part i need? Thank in advance Matt
  4. Hello, I only have the cars service book. What is the option sticker? Am I able to call Porsche and find out what the car had when it was first purchased. Thank You Matt
  5. Hello, Thanks for the reply. No it does not. I then tried pressing 1, 4 and 8 together which done the reset and when It came back on I did the MAIN and TRIP together again which still only showed whats in the photo. I also checked the trunk and don't seem to have any drives. I take it that it means it does not have it? Do you know roughly how much it is for the sat nav and phone? Thank You Matt
  6. Hello, I have just bought my first Porsche 997.1 2006 C2 with the PCM system (which I think it is called) Everything seems to work fine. The CD player works perfectly fine and it all seems good. Except for when I press Tel, Mail, Navi or Map buttons, I get the following error along the bottom of the screen Navigation not available Map display not available Internal Telephone not available Mail not available Depending on what one I press. I receive no manuals for the car and bought from a used car place which didn't really no much about Porsches. Does this mean, I need a CD? or does it not have navigation? or could it be faulty? does it need a sim card for everything to work? Im just lost. I do not have any CD drives or anything in the trunk but it does have a type of sim card tray on the front of the unit that ejects Any help would be much appreciated as I really just want the navigation on it. Thank You Matt
