  1. Is that DexCool in that reservoir? That orange color sends shivers up my spine.
  2. I know this is an old thread, but I can solve the mystery. The window is NOT original to 97, 98 & 99 cars. The front cowl water drain system was changed in MY2000. The window was added to prevent leaves, pine needles, etc from entering the cowl area. Porsche issued TSB 5093 to modify 97-99 cars to the new system. It adds the window (996 572 661 00) and 2 water drain sleeves (999 703 484 40). See the TSB for detailed instructions.
  3. I am looking for the M490 amplifier harness connector (big plug) contact removal tool. I have tried the Sir Tools 9025, but it is not quite correct. I got two sockets out, but one was damaged. Tyco/Amp says the connector (1-828881-2 is restricted and doesn't show any info. Previous posts on this subject show a Sir Tool 9701 that is discontinued or a Mibotool that I can't locate.
