  1. Are you using good fuel? 93 octane? Maybe you need to run a couple sessions of a high quality fuel injector cleaner through your engine. Select one with Techron.
  2. I have a new 987S with 19" wheels and Michelin Tires PS2. When will I start getting maximum grip? I have about 1,700 miles. Fronts are inflated to 32 and the rears are at 37 (like the good manual says!). How much is dependent on outside air temperature too? Most of the weather I have been in has been around mid-50's. Will I get better grip in the summer temps?? Thanks
  3. The 987 started with the 2005 model year.
  4. Loren, I'd like to get a Sand Beige Leather Fuse Box Cover for my 987S. I forgot to order the car this way from the factory. The black cover sticks-out too much for my tastes. How do I get one now? Do you have a part number I can give to Sunset? Will a fuse box cover from a 997 also fit the 987? Thanks!
  5. Loren, it is # 22 that I need. Can you please post this part number. Thanks.
  6. Loren, thanks for the fast response. I don't know if that is the part. What is part #5 called?
  7. Loren or ToolPants, do you know the part number of the "U"-shaped plastic trim piece called "gear lever trim piece"? Thanks, I want to buy one and send it out for painting. Are they difficult to remove? If I can easily and safely remove, I won't purchase a core exchange new piece.
  8. How does one know the engine's build date to know if this TSB applies to them? Thanks!
