Driverside Outside Rear View Mirror

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Does anybody have instructions on how to remove the Driverside Outside Rear View Mirror?:help: I just came back from Europe and bought one of those aspheric mirrors. I've had four near misses when changing lanes (left) :( since owning the car in June and this mirror should be a big help. Thanks for you help.

I have an 06 997S Coupe.

Sorry I can't help with the instructions,

but my advice is you should always physically turn to the sides to check very quickly right before you change lanes. You cannot just depend on the side mirrors.

That's okay. I usually check my blind spots when I change lanes. But somehow, someone manages to be on my left side after I look. Looking in the mirror will be a secondary precaution. I've had them in my BMWs.

Check this site http://www.toolworks.com/bilofsky/boxster/mirrors.html. It talks about aspheric mirrors for boxsters though, but, they all do the same thing.
