Valentine 1 Custom Mirror with Color LEDS WOW

Just completed the final install of my V1 and the display integrated in to the mirror, makes it much slicker and easier to use. Next step will be remote audio all being well. The full V1 display is now in the corner of the mirror and the mute button is on the back Mirror Front shot of V1 and Mirror if you are interested in this install you can PM me or the awsome genius behind this design PM "UKchris" Thanks Marco

Are you planning to stealth mount the main V1 control unit somehow (like shown in the Boxster DIY section)?

I will have to look at the boxter DIY but in the cayenne there really is no place to stealth mount it...i would love to if you or anyone else has ideas...?

Am i missing something? if the V1 unit is still visible, what is the purpose of putting the display into the mirror?

well see my problem is i have no remote location to put it .... any ideas?

its a cayenne the only option i am aware of is front grill then theres no rear protection :(

is the unit shown in the picture the receiver? so what you are saying is the Cayenne has no location to remote mount the sensor unit? that sucks. on another subject, have you heard if the 2004 Cayenne S cars are good to buy or not? fried of mine has a used one with only 13K miles he said i can have for 41K. very loaded and has lived in a garage all its life. but i have seen some post of people saying the 04's are bad, do you know?

I think the issue is finding a convenient place for the remote display that is easy to glance at without having to look away from the road too much and is also convenient for the mute switch. I have the display in my mirror in my Boxster as I didn't like the other mounting locations and it also enabled me to mount my V1 in the back between the seats, I prefer it there so it isn't as obvious to potential thieves when I'm parked.

It's a personal choice, each to their own.

Chris.
