I'm sorry if this issue has been touched on before, but is switch repalcement the answer to my problem. The ignition switch does not return to position 1 after engine start. The switch has to be manually returned to that position then the accessories including the headlights, ac fan, et al will work.

That is a good idea. Wonder why no one has thought of this before. You should patent it and sell it to Porsche.

Will make it easier to replace the switch when the replacement switch goes bad....

Thanks for the complement. I thought the idea was to give the forum ways to do things better and cheaper read free.
