temp gauge problem

My temp gauge has gone nuts several times. The needle goes dead, then comes back on like a louse wire. the dealer has replaced the sending unit then 700mi later it did it again. They now have replaced the thermostat. I think it may be the gauge I'm waiting to see how long it lasts before it trips a code again. Has anybody had a simular problem. thanks carl

carl: Haven't gotten my GT3 yet but a few months after I got my 968 the temp gauge started to occasionally peg itself and then drop back to normal range. After two sensors and a thermostat were replaced without solving the problem a new gauge did.
