One problem with most custom turbos is getting them to physically fit in the space provided. Also, a turbo in this power range will likely require modification of the cross-over and downpipe to accomodate the larger turbine housing. So you would need to add modified cross-over and downpipe to your list. Also add MAF and custom software to your list. Realize that squeezing this much power from the stock 2.5L will likely result in a car with a very narrow powerband. Stepping the displacement up to a 2.8L or a 3L will go to great lengths to alleviate this issue.

Realistically, if your going to be making 450whp, you need to take a serious look at your suspension, fueling, braking system, safety equipment, clutch, transmission, etc. and make sure that they are all up to the task of handling more the twice the power that the car was originally designed for.

You may want to check out Lindsey Racing and Speed Force Racing as well as Vitesse for more information. HTH.

Can't be done for $8k unless you do all the work yourself and even then you will have to do so many connected mods as stated like suspension and brakes. To get 450whp reliably almost certainly requires a greater capacity than 2.5L. You'll need a bigger turbo, probably a GT35r and what about the ems?

Look to spend double that and more.

With all due respect you'd be better off posting this question on Rennlist. Sorry.

You'd be better off re-evaluating your goals and starting off in a class that you don't need such power. Have you driven or been in a 951 with even 300whp? That's surprisingly fast. 450whp is rocketship fast and requires some level of skill to drive as well. No disrespect intended.
