2001 carrera convertible softtop

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am wanting to know if anyone knows of a 3rd party company that manufactures 2001 carrera convertible soft-top with GLASS. I was told by the Porsche dealership that Porsche makes their 2001 retractable soft-top using plastic composite - which deteriorate over time if left in the sun even for a short period of time.

Thanks

Mark

I have no personal experience with them, but you can try www.gahh.com. Looks like $1,750 with glass window.

I saw a place in Newark NJ that does tops with GLASS for under $1000. I do not have the magazine, either the PCA monthly mag or the Christoferous mag. But I know it is in Newark, because I a located in NY and it caught my interest.

EDIT

I found the place. It is called CabrioWorld. They advertised in the Dec 2007 Panorama. They are located in Newark NJ, and the number is 800-752-1563. In the ad they have tops for a Boxster for 775 with the glass.

Good Luck!
