5w-40 Vs. 0w-40

Anybody know the differnce between the two. I just put 0W-40 in the car as Porsche suggests but I saw 5W-40 right next to it at the auto parts store. Both labels say fully synthetic "super syn". About the same price as well (the 5 is about .50 cheaper). So what gives on the differnce between the 0 and the 5? By the way, I am talking about Mobil 1. I could care less about the $4-5 I would save with the 5W vs. the 0W since I am a DIY'er and would just like to know what the difference is between the 2 numbers.

Do you have a picture of the container?

No picture. But I notice in your picture that there is no 5W40. I will see what the 5W40 says next time I pop in to the auto store.
