4 stalk OBC and Cruise Hack

Recommended Posts

Hello folks....I've been contemplating the 4 stalk OBC and Cruise hack. I've ordered what I think are all the parts...and have scoured the boards for the most up to date information. My new steering wheel has finally arrived, so I'm waiting for is a warm, sunny day to tackle this one (I live in the Boston area).

There is a lot of info floating around on this hack. I have a 2003 Boxster S. Can anyone point me to the most up-to-date instructions? I've read the sticky regarding this project, but there is a ton of year specific information.

Also, does anyone have any good pictures of the 12V wire splice into the B7 fuse box? That is the only part of the project that is making me nervous (I've already done the OBC button hack, so I'm cool with taking off the instrument cluster and playing with those connections).

Any help would be much appreciated. It would be great if non-cruise cars came with the wiring...and not the 4 yoke stalk.

Thanks in advance for your help.

One afterthought. Any part number recommendations for the 12V wire to run to the fuse box?

Thanks.
