The AM band on this radio has very little range. The FM seems fine and all other elements work. Is there an alignment adjustment or a fix that anyone is aware of? Even in the City the radio squeals because of range, frustrating. I asked the dealer he said they don't use AM in Germany so Porsche doesn't care?

My Becker was the same thing. Ended up replacing the head unit to a Pioneer BT9800, which improved things a bit, but not by all that much. I think the antenna in the windshield is not the greatest of designs. I've also had my windshield replaced, and the reception wasn't any better.
