  1. OK enough you guys! I drooled all over my keyboard.. what a mess!
  2. The climate is terrible on our cars here. Sand storms and heat! Bad combo for a polished car! Speaking of Yemen.... a friend of mine recently managed to locate a very rare 997 GT3 RS from Yemen.... white with black decals and wheels.
  3. Its a 2006 model. With the falling dollar, and our currencies pegged to it... imports are far more expensive nowdays. So in reality, its the sellers market! Someone pls correct me, but have Porsche priced their cars in US dollars? If so, how often are they forced re-price due to dollar depreciation?
  4. Hi guys, I've been looking around for a decent 996 Mk2 GT3 without much success. However, I did come across this beauty a few days ago and it's pretty much twisted my mind in another direction. It's got 19k kms on the dial, in pretty good condition, and for the same value as a decent 996 GT3 price tag. Do you guys think it's worth the $70K they're asking for? Took some shots with my camera phone as well yesterday. The car has got a few stone chips here and there!
  5. Not so good quality, but good enough... '00 model 996 Carrera Mk1 with GT3 Aerokit.
  6. Not really... I have a '00 996 Carrera (MK1) with Aero-Kit and Turbo wheels! I so want to add techart sideskirts and the rear skirts to my car. i have the c4s/turbo aero lip and the GTM misha wing. where did you source your techart sideskirts? they're about $1600 right? Well, it's actually a GT3 kit. My dealer referred to it as a GT aerokit when I placed the order. I will post pics in the morning.
  7. Do you instruct at Rex-Kwon Do? I live 5000 miles from that place! :D
  8. Might sound stupid, but did you check your wheels for any deforms?
  9. 56,000 kms and still going strong. My only problem till date was a bad MAF.
  10. Not really... I have a '00 996 Carrera (MK1) with Aero-Kit and Turbo wheels!
  11. She's a beauty! Take good care of her! Congrats
  12. I am lovin this! Wonderful pice of work! Would love to see some pics of your rear setup!
  13. This may sound idiotic, but the problems are mainly from the filter oil that gets sucked and fouls the MAF! That's all! Some people have actually washed these filters dry, and some have left them out in the sun to dry before installing them.
