Any guidance as to a more specific location behind the wheel well liner I might be able to find the emergency release cable? Would it be more toward the rear of the car from the coil spring mount or in front of it? I tried contorting myself in every which way to pry away any part of the liner I could get hold of attempting to find the cable. It's doing a good job of eluding me. Unfortunately, removing the wheel may not be an option since (sure enough) the wheel lock is safely stowed in the front trunk :-(

As an aside I was able to locate the rear engine cover release to open that up thought it doesn't help me much. That one was quite easy to find....cable is behind the drivers side tail light.

I know I only have myself to blame but I REALLY wish whoever shut my trunk would have just kept their hands off my car...

Any other ideas?
