Help please ?

I do not know if the RMS has failed on my 1998 (99 model year) C4 Tip.

Recently noticed a small amount of oil on the garage floor !!!!, however over 3 days this has amounted to barely covering the bottom of a small beaker which I placed underneath the car.

Have attached a pic, and hope someone can advise ?

As I am in UK, any idea of what the cost is likely to be ?

Many thanks

996 are prone to leaks from a few areas, not just the RMS.

If it is the RMS then OPC will probably charge £500-£600, assuming not covered by any warranty (the Porsche one is now cheaper, and includes the RMS now)

Specialist Cars in Malton, Yorks are advertising RMS reseals for £299 (not sure whether that includes the vat tho)

I'm sure Loren or TP will recognise that bracket and where it is near.

Best of Luck
