Jay Sebrings Porsche Model Year?

Can anyone on the board help with this?. I wanted to get your advice as to what year Jay Sebrings black Porsche 911 or 912 might be? I have done extensive research online and read books about him and the Sharon Tate murder case. The only thing they mention about Sebrings Porsche in various books is that it was a black Porsche and was loud for its time and the year depending on books is 1966/1967?

I found Jays Hair products link and this is the only picture you can find of the car this close. I noticed that during 1965-1969 some 911 and 912's have a "large wide chrome ring around the front headlights". Was this an option back then? Or did both the 911 and 912 receive this large chrome ring around its headlights. This is the only way I think I can narrow down the year of his car , but im still puzzled as to wether it was a 911 model or 912 model. Thanks if you can help. ................

So my questions are if anyone happens to know anything about Jay Sebring the murder victim by the manson family.
