Need New Radio/CD/Ipod unit

So I have removed the ancient CD-1 unit from my 1992 968.

What is a nice radio replacement - I will be doing the install myself - have not done one before but took it out OK.

Cheers - back to my scheduled Sam Adams.

Ben I am having same problem with my Alpine cr1 in my 1993 968 what kind of radio did you put in and did you do it yourself. The radio just stopped working except back light . Thanks

the radio problem really is not what you have to worry about. first go to www.crutchfield.com second select a radio and get it shipped to you third splice wires for power auxillary and ground connect the radio and put it in the slot and enjoy if you need any specifics just ask.
