82 911 Targa Window Stop replacement

I ordered and started to install both left and right window stops on my 82 Targa, but found out quickly that there is much more to the story than appears. The two screws on top of the quarter window are a no brainer, but how in the world do you get the quarter window frame out of the door (the two bolts on the front of the door are a bear), and then the brass rivets out? There has to be more bolts securing the frame deep inside the door. Has anyone done this replacement before? I didn't think a $5.00 part would involve taking the entire door apart! Please assist. Thanks.

I have performed this operation on our '86 Targa.
