Porsche Driving Experience Leipzig

Recommended Posts

Any body here attended the Porsche Driving School in Leipzig... A friend of mine is organizing a 6 day trip this summer which will entail the precision, performance, and master courses... It sounds fun but he was telling me that it will be very costly...

Any one have any past experience with any of these courses and their prices?

They have one at Silverstone in the UK too: http://www.porsche.com/silverstone/en/courses/

Maybe Leipzig have a similar web site. The UK site has a brochure with prices.

It is expensive - a 90 minute session is in the region of £275 (GBP) and an all-day course can cost £800. VIP treatment though, as you would expect from Porsche.

Don't forget to add in the cost of renting a vehicle , this adds to the basic premium. I would imagine the Leipzig course has all the surfaces that silverstone has , along with a very impressive test track / circuit. Silverstone has a short but interesting circuit, though I beleive its also possible to drive the main race cuircuit. The handling sections such as the kick plate , ice hill and low friction curves add to the driver training element. Details are available on line from the porsche website or in the travel/ tour brochure from your local OPC.
