LED light bulbs

So one of my side marker bulbs blew out today and I decided to replace both with LEDs (194s)... All went well with the install and bulbs work/look great but now I get a system indicator that reads "Check Left Marker Light" & "Check Right Marker Light". Are these different voltage/amperage that the system thinks there are no bulbs installed? That is all I can think of, because I have swapped bulbs with regular bulbs before and never got this message.

Since the LED's are lesser in WATTAGE than conventional bulbs, the control box cant reach the programmed values. Replace the LED's with original bulbs to avoid this kind of problems.
