I'm just short of 27k miles on my 2005 987S 6Speed. My service light just counted down to zero.

I called the local dealer to set up a service. They want $700 for what sounds like a glorified oil and filter change.

I'm also about to go out of warranty so I've got a couple of things that I need to have looked at.

What service items should I expect to be completed at this mileage and age? Any sources? I can do the oil/filter change myself. I'm really interested in what other items they would do.

Ok, I just opened my eyes and found the DIY section and service data. Thx Guys.

Still wondering if it makes sense to have what appears to be the 20k service done for the price being asked.
