PCM3 Aux volume question and auto mute question

Recommended Posts

On my new 2009 Turbo, I have noticed that the Aux in volume on the PCM3 is much lower that the tuner volume or the ipod volume. This happens no matter what device I plug into the Aux. Is this standard (feature) or is it a problem that I am only having. Also, is there a way on the PCM3 to connect and auto mute via a cable with my built in Escort 9500ci radar dector.

On my i-pod I have different songs with different volumes.

I would say that this is normal.

The question is not the volume of different songs on an individual input ie ipod, aux, tuner. The question /comment /recommendation is there no adjustment for the individual inputs so when one is listening to the ipod and one selects tuner one is not blown away by the different volume levels of those different inputs.

Also, once agin I ask, is there a way to tap into the auto mute in the PCM 3.0 (like we could in the PCM 2.1). I would love my radio to mute when my radar detector goes off like it did in my previous 2006 911
