Connector - not connected to anything?

IXLR8

Recommended Posts

I had the lower door trim panel off to install a new loudspeaker grill and noticed this connector not connected to anything. It is located just back from the door lock release lever.

Would anyone know what it is for?

enjoy

So that is what it is. I happen to have that technical bulletin on file as well.

I would guess there is one on the driver's door as well, because the one pictured above is on the passenger door.

I still don't know what the Digital Sound Processing System is all about or what it does. My 993 came with option 490; Hi-Fi Sound System.

Thanks.

As my 993 has almost everything on it I wanted to fill-it up with the only 2 things that I was missing

DSP and rear wiper....but I ended up not installing anything....

DSP is nothing that a little better sound quality....Hey what isbetter than the 6pot sound?!?

and rear wiper needed to change the rear glass,so to much bother..........

I'd stuck without it....

cheers
