'04 CS Alarm fuse location?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

'04 CS

Can anyone tell me which fuse # (and location - left dash or under hood) that controls the alarm (and the alarm horn in particular if it's different)? The manual lists position 21 for what I can only assume (since it's not differentiated in my manual) is for the CTT. The first list of fuse locations in the manual does not list "alarm" at all. I tried removing the horn fuse and the central locking fuse, but no luck.

Problem (well this one of MANY electrical issues that make my CS an expensive lawn ornament) is that when I start the CS, the alarm horn triggers - odd since the alarm isn't currently working and only sounds after the engine starts.

I've replaced the battery (old one still tests fine anyway) and the rear liftgate glass switch. I've purchased the Durametric kit, but haven't been able to use it yet since I can't start the CS without the alarm horn blaring and at key position 1, the cable indicator light isn't coming on and the software won't recognize any modules - on that note, what fuse controls the OBDII port? although, I've gone through all of the fuses several times and they're fine.

Thanks in advance!

Mike
