New airbox coming

Have this new toy coming for the Turbo. It actually seals out the hot air unlike Fabspeed etc... I have a friend who has one and I love the sound and a it does give a slight performance gain. I'm a sucker for Carbon.

II will photograph the install and post it on the DIY section. Not too much there for Turbo's.. Should arrive in about a week..

HG,

I haven't installed it yet. It's being shipped as we speak. It's a "Agency carbon fiber cold air intake". I got mine from Vivid racing. I have seen them at other places as well but the price is the same... $1,500:  If it was for an Acura it would probably cost $400..

It's adds HP and sound. Yes it does have a nice growl at WOT.

Here is the link. http://www.vividraci...bo-p-59684.html

You will love your Tubi exhaust... Have you flashed your ECU yet? If you haven't consider doing it. A HUGE increase in power...

Update .. Got the intake and I'm already returning it. The CF shell was very poor quality and didn't fit properly. It never even made it in the car. You'd think for $1500 bucks it would be perfect.. They (Agency) sell a lot of these so maybe it was just a quality control issue at the factory. Not going to replace it. I'm just going to get the BMC filter and call it good..

Frustrating....dry.gif
