Central door locking / Alarm System I16 or I32 in 986 model

I noticed in the shop manual that there are 2 central locking / alarm systems for the Boxster 986 --> I16 and I32.

Does anyone know the main difference(s) between those 2 systems and in which cars they have been installed off factory? (model, destination or modelyear depending ???) As far I know there is no indication on the sticker of the control modules which enables to identify one of both systems.

(Durametric shows I32 on the PC screen but to my surprise Durametric people confirmed me that the I32 system is not supported by their software ...???)
