Convertible Top Rocker Switch

Hello all

Yesterday I was closing the top on my 2002 C4 Cab and the rocker switch to open and close the top went into the dash! I tried to pull it back out but was unsuccessful. Is this something I can fix myself? If so can anyone point me to in the right direction if not what will it cost to fix. Thank you in advance for your input.

Richard,

The inverted U shaped surround can be removed by gently prying away from the dashboard. Use your finger tips or a plastic blade. The surround is just held in place with clips. Once you have the surround loose, put the switch in position and firmly and evenly push it until you hear it snap into place. To replace the surround put it into position and push it back on firmly and evenly until it snaps back into place.

A 10 minute job.
