1997 Ignition Switch

Ignition key will not turn. From what I read it sounds like the tumblers have failed. I have removed the electrical connection from the back side, but do not see any screws to remove the tumbler,if this is the tumbler that i'm seeing. Where do I go from here? I am attaching a picture from under the dash.

Have you tried turning the steering wheel slightly to unload the lock mechanism and see if it turns? Your pic is of the electrical portion of the ignition switch, the tumbler part is where the key goes. Any problems inserting or removing the key?

Well, I have felt stupid before and I'm sure that it's not the last time. I would like to thank you for getting my car back on the road again. The lock had pressure from the steering wheel. I love easy fixes almost as much as I love driving my Carrera. Thanks so much.
