Possible to retrofit in a 996 carrera

Recommended Posts

I wonder if its possible to retrofit in my 2004 996 C2 Tiptronic F1/ like SMGII paddles behind the steering wheel, i wonder if thee can be retrofitted withiut having to replace the steering wheel? Anyone knows about such a retrofit if possible and where it can be found ? I would imagine from a technical perspective two paddles connected to the tiptronic switches shouldnt be very complicated

Check out Carnewal: http://www.carnewal-...om/cpx_p074.htm

Someone I met at a recent Autocross event had one with the paddle shifters on his Tiptronic 996tt and said he loves it. The right paddle upshifts and the left paddle downshifts. He paid 875 euro (about US $1500 at the time) for it, Airbag included. Be careful when pricing steering wheels because many quote prices that don't include the airbag. He also said that it was easy dealing with the company even though they are in Belgium.
