Ok, I searched with no luck.

I have a '02 C4. Door was perfect till 3 months ago. After unlocking, it sometimes needed 2 pulls to open. First pull, window drops a tad but door no open. 2nd pull, window drops again and then presto! Door opens.

Of late, even with 2 pulls, the windows drop as usual but door doesn't open. I try to pull a few more times without success

What I realize is that when I thump on the door close to the handle, the door opens prefectly!

What is happening? I feel quite like a mad man hitting on my door before opening it.

Help!
