I would like to change the shocks and springs in my 04' Cayenne S w/ 75K miles - they are original. Any opinions regarding Bilstein Sport vs. HD? Also, anyone used them in conjunction with Koni or Eibach springs? I have 18' wheels and would like to minimize the wheel well gap, without making the ride brutally hard...if that's possible to do and still lower the an inch or so. Cheers!

I have not used any of those on a Cayenne, however, I do have Bilstein Sport shocks and Eibach springs on my Audi, and the ride isn't "brutal". Otherwise, KW makes a very nice coilover kit for Cayennes that has fully adjustable compression and rebound dampening - to keep the ride smooth, as well as adjustable ride height. It's a good bit more money, but probably the least compromise for what you want.
