HI everybody,

I am new to this site and happy to be in!

I'm in the process of buying a 1998 993 carrera 4s locates in l.a. with for export to switzerland where I presently live,

can anyone be so nice to eventually check the car out for me?

just the usual test and oil/rust eventually... she has 42000 miles,

is there anything I should be aware of? is there anything big/problematic going on with this model?

I have read some posts and think this is maybe the right car to keep in your garage for good... and have been looking for a lowmile 993 for a while and think this maybe the one, after owning with pleasure both a 996 c4s and a 997 c4s....

please help me thank you

Corrado

Contact the nearest OPC to have the vehicle inspected and I recommend a compression/cylinder leak down test. There are also well known issues with valve guide wear resulting in plugged secondary air injection ports in the cylinder head.
