winter tire / rim question. 08 targa4 rims to a 2000 C4?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. Im going to get a set of winter tires. I found a complete set of tires / rims with almost new Blizzaks on them but they are 17" Porsche rims with 17" x 7.5 front and 17" x 9 rear. Front are 215/50R17 95H, Rear 255/45r17 98H. These were on a 2008 Targa 4. He said they will work on my car but I wanted to make sure. Is the hole pattern exactly the same on the 08 targa as my 2000 C4? Also is the offset the same. I just want to make sure they will work before I get them shipped. Does anybody know for sure if these will work on my car? The rims on mine are the 18" twists right now.

Thanks guys.

The stock wheels for a 997 NB such as the targa have a higher offset front wheel and lower offset rear wheel.

The bolt patterns are the same.

However, the 17" wheels were not stock.

So it is guess work whether they would fit unless we knew the dimensions (width, offset, tire size, etc)

Good luck
