Intermittent Issue with Power Window

Hello,

I have an 03 996 (cabriolet) and am experiencing an intermittent problem with my passage door. Sometimes when the door is opened either from the inside or outside, the window will drop down and then immediately go back up. This results in the window sitting on the outside of the roof when closing the door. I have replaced the sensor for the outside door handle. Thanks for any assistance.

Sounds like a slightly different but similar problem to one I ran into that the dealer fixed for me. I'll tell you just in case.

Both switches were fine, but apparently the positional alignment of the switch is critical as well. The dealer ended up finding a small misalignment on the inner door panel that was affecting the switch's ability to sense the inner door handle position.
