Front lip spoiler recommendation

My 2002 996 C2 narrow body coupe has a large fixed spoiler in the back and the stock front bumper cover... The net effect is lots of front end float and wander at higher speeds... Very unnerving! Short of replacing the entire front bumper with either the Porsche aerokit or GT3 type front bumper at great cost, has anyone had success with just an add on lip spoiler such as one offered by GT3TEK??? Any experience or recommendations for which product works best at increasing front end downforce???
