Oil change and filters all around but I need to clean my engine......

Recommended Posts

First thing I did when I got the CTT was replace the drivers side plastic elbow beneath the air box with the notoriously failed seal. Mine dumped out a cup or two of blow by.......and has sprayed the drips all up and down the drivers side half of the engine. As I torqued the oilpan bolt I looked up at the open hood past my serpentine belts and pulleys and there's just freakin crusty oil sprayed everywhere- on the front of the engine and all over the elbow/ tubes to and from the turbo on left side. What the f is seeping now? My best guess is this is the cumulative spraying result of 2004-2011, before I bought the CTT.

What's my best course of action? I'm super fastidious about my cars. I'm replacing the under body panels b/c the absorbent quilting is so oily. Can't stand that crap all over my engine.......
