Hello, I just picked up a 2008 997 Targa 4 a few days ago and its my first Porsche. I noticed one of my fog lights is burned out so I thought my first mod would be to upgrade these. I've always been partial to yellow fog lights and was wondering if anyone has tried yellow bulbs in their 997? Curious to know if these looked good in this type of car.

I haven't upgraded the fog lamps but if you do, be very careful you don't buy any of that cheap Asian stuff that is out there on eBay, etc. Buy a quality lamp and you'll be fine. In actuality, I just upgraded my low beam xenon lamps to a Philips pure yellow lamp (D2S) that they used to use in Europe. Very hard to find and rather pricy too. I always liked the look of the yellow headlamp but didn't want to put that cheap yellow tint on my headlamp covers. I know a lot of people don't like it but I do for some strange reason.

Forgot to attach the picture.

My car is an 08C2S and is purely stock with the exception of the LED front and rear upgrade. I also liked the look of the LED's much better than the standard incandescent lamps. If you Google Porsche LED's" you will probably find them and also by doing a search on this forum, you will get a source for them too. I can't honestly tell you where I got the LED's as I forgot but there are good and bad sources out there. The install front and rear only takes minutes to do. They are around $500.00+ for the front and about the same price for the rear. To me, they make a big difference from what the car comes with from the factory. Good luck!
