Any valuation impact to a 1986 911 Cabriolet due to engine upgrade to

Looking at a car that has had only one owner, but the engine was upgraded to 3.6 liter by Andial (previous porsche engine builder). I want to buy a solid car for occasional use, but also want to help preserve value if possible.  The original engine case was maintained, but all inner parts upgraded.

Does this engine modification hurt the value even though done by a well known engine builder and retained original engine case?  Dual plugs also used.  Looks totally stock except for dual distributors.  Everything else original.  Thanks
